Plus People (Australia) Pty Ltd, ABN 88 662 153 291, trading as +People, handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What is collected
- Details you send when you apply for a role or contact me: name, email, phone, LinkedIn address and anything in your message or resume.
- Information gathered during a recruitment process: work history, qualifications, right to work, referee comments and behavioural assessment results.
- Basic technical information from your visit to this site, such as pages requested and approximate location, used to keep the site working and secure.
Why it is collected
To assess you for roles, to represent you to employers with your agreement, to keep you in mind for future roles, and to meet legal obligations. Your information is not sold and is not used for marketing by third parties.
Who it is shared with
- Prospective employers, only with your agreement, and only for the role discussed.
- Referees you nominate.
- Service providers who help run the business, including Airtable, Cloudflare, Microsoft and Google. Some of these store data outside Australia.
How long it is kept
Candidate information is kept while it is useful for finding you work, and reviewed periodically. You can ask for it to be removed at any time.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or withdraw consent for it to be shared. Email phil@pluspeople.com.au and it will be actioned within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how a privacy matter has been handled, contact me first. If it is still unresolved, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
