What is +People
Plus People is a boutique tech recruitment agency. It is small on purpose. I take a limited number of briefs at a time so that I can do the work properly rather than pass a pile of resumes along and hope.
Background
My name is Phil. Twenty years in IT, and almost as much in recruitment, across agency, in-house and executive search. Most of that work has been in tech, banking and financial services, and more recently healthcare.
Coming from an IT background means I can understand what a role actually involves, and judge who is likely to do it well.
How I work with candidates
- I will be as open as I can about the company, the salary, the opportunity and the challenges.
- Nothing about you goes to a client without your agreement, ever.
- I reply to every application, including the ones that are not a fit.
- If you are shortlisted, I will keep you updated regularly rather than leaving you to wonder.
How I work with clients
We start with a proper conversation about your options and what is realistic. From there you get regular updates and full visibility of my progress and my shortlist. I would rather send three people I can defend than ten I cannot. If a role is not fillable at the budget or the brief, I will say so early rather than let us both find out later.
